1. The Lost Pencil
Mina lost her favorite pencil during English class. She checked her
desk, her bag, and even the floor, but it was gone. After class, her friend
Ryan walked over and handed her the pencil. “I think you dropped this,” he
said. Mina smiled. It wasn’t just a pencil—her sister gave it to her. From that
day, Mina and Ryan became closer friends. She learned that small actions can
make someone’s whole day better.

The Breakfast
Rush Every morning, Ethan eats breakfast at
a small breakfast shop near school. He always orders the same thing: an egg
pancake and soy milk. One day, the shop was crowded, and he was almost late.
When the owner finally handed him his food, she added, “Free hash brown for you
today!” Ethan ran to school with a big smile. Sometimes, a simple breakfast can
start your day in the best way.

The PE Challenge
During PE, the class had to run five laps around the
field. Most students groaned loudly. Yuki felt tired after the second lap, but
her best friend waved at her from the track. “Come on! Just a little more!”
With that encouragement, Yuki pushed herself and finished all five laps. She
wasn’t the fastest, but she was proud. She learned that effort sometimes
matters more than skill.

The Phone-Free Hour
At lunch, everyone in Ben’s class looked at their
phones—playing games, watching videos, or scrolling. One day, the teacher asked
them to try a “phone-free lunch.” At first, the students were bored. But then
they started chatting, telling jokes, and sharing snacks. Ben realized he
hadn’t talked to some classmates in weeks. After that day, they decided to keep
one phone free lunch each week.
